JUNIOR LEAGUE OF EASTERN FAIRFIELD COUNTY TO HOST OPEN HOUSE

The Junior League of Eastern Fairfield County (JLEFC) is looking for a few good women! 

The JLEFC would like to invite interested women to its Open House on Thursday, September 6 from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at The Shack Hometown Grill (2070 Post Road, Fairfield).

The JLEFC is dedicated to developing its members’ leadership abilities through a variety of volunteer opportunities.  As a group, the League designs new volunteer projects, makes both short- and long-term improvements to better our community, and works alongside community leaders and like-minded women to form strong bonds and friendships.

Regarding the JLEFC’s impact on its community, First Selectman Mike Tetreau said, “The Junior League of Eastern Fairfield County has made a positive impact on our community through their trained volunteers' work in the areas of nutrition and literacy with our local schools and organizations.  I'm proud to have supported their programs in the past and look forward to their continued successful future."

The Junior League of Eastern Fairfield County is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. Communities represented by the League include Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Newtown, Redding, Shelton, Southport, Stratford, Trumbull, Weston and Westport.
