The Junior Women’s Club of Fairfield To Host “Senoritas & Margaritas” Open House

The Junior Women’s Club of Fairfield invites local women to follow up a hot summer day with a cool night, relaxing with a margarita and enjoying festive fare. Our second annual Senoritas & Margaritas night, scheduled for Aug. 22 at 7:30 p.m. is a chance to meet and mingle with Junior Women’s Club members and to learn more about everything the club has to offer.

The Junior Women’s Club annual summer event provides prospective members with an overview of the organization’s numerous service projects, fundraisers, and social activities. “This fun and casual evening always attracts a great mix of prospective members, members who only recently joined us, and long-time members. Each offers a unique perspective on what the club can do and has done for them,” says JWC of Fairfield President Marlene Battista.

Women from Fairfield and the surrounding towns are welcome to attend the August 22 event and to join the JWC. In addition to drinks and an informal dinner, current club members will speak about their experiences with the JWC, and the events and projects that they’ve enjoyed most. Executive Board members will provide a brief description of the club’s upcoming events including our 4th annual Touch-a-Truck, scheduled for September 16th at Fairfield Ludlowe High School, and the ever-popular “A Visit to Santa’s House,” now in its 27th year, scheduled for the weekend of December 8th and 9th at Burr Homestead.
