'Life Is Good' Music Festival

CT Band Barefoot Truth Selected to Open the Festival in Boston Sept. 24-25.

Set to take place Sept. 24-25 at Prowse Farm in Canton, MA, a suburb of Boston, the two-day music and fundraising festival is hosted by Life is good, a Boston-based company who happens to have one of their six corporate stores located in Fairfield (1539 Post Road) spreads the power of optimism through its colorful collection of apparel and accessories and through its social mission to help kids overcome life-threatening challenges.

The multi-faceted fundraiser combines world-class headliners and nationally known musical talent on three stages, including several of today's most popular children's performers. This one-of-a-kind festival aims to raise $1 million to benefit the Life is good Playmakers, the action arm of The Life is good Kids Foundation.

Opening the festival is Mystic, Conn-based independent band Barefoot Truth. The band was selected from hundreds of submissions received through Sonicbids to open the festival.  Barefoot Truth was selected based on the quality of their music, mixing the sounds of folk, rock, jazz, and reggae, with lyrics full of unbridled optimism, making them a perfect fit for the Life is good Festival.
