Loads of Holiday Fun at the Fairfield Museum

Holiday fun at the Fairfield Museum from candlelight tours to candy house workshops.

The Fairfield Museum located on 370 Beach Rd. is offering several holiday events perfect for family fun. The Holiday Express Train Show delights young and old alike with the magic of model trains that wind their way around a winter wonderland of spectacular trees and beautiful holiday scenery. This special exhibition takes place through December 31.

A special holiday treat is the Candlelight Tour of the Ogden House that will take place this year on Friday, December 7 from 5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Participants will enjoy a tour and holiday refreshments at the 1750 home of the Ogden family. Bring your family and friends to celebrate the season and to glimpse life from times past. The Ogden House is located at 1520 Bronson Road, Fairfield. Admission is $3 and members are free.

If you are feeling creative this year, don't miss the Candy House workshop on Saturday, December 8. There are two sessions for this popular event; one from 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and the second from 12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. The workshop will help you create your very own Candy House. Call 203-259-1598 to register. The cost is $15 per house; $10 for members.
