The lovely people at YZ (Wise) contacted me to try their new product that is sold in Whole Foods and Stew Leonard's throughout Connecticut.
I was really excited to try this product because I love flavored water and I love sparkling water. This product is the best of both worlds and even better. YZ™ is all Natural Hydravescent Crystals™ that improve the hydration process that’s vital to healthy living.
They can help kick-start your health regimen, by just adding a packet of YZ (that’s “wise”) crystals to 16 oz of tap water. The effervescent “bubble” technology rapidly dissolves the crystals. Just stir and drink to instantly improve hydration, increase electrolytes and promote better health.*
YZ comes in three great tasting flavors:
- Raspberry Green Tea—Antioxidant: fights free radicals and reduces oxidative stress** with pomegranate, acai and elderberry (20 calories/8 oz). This flavor was really yummy! I love green tea and raspberries. There was a hint of green tea flavor and a lot of raspberry flavor! I think that this drink gave me more pep than my usual coffee does!
- Orange Mango Pineapple—Immunity: boosts the body’s health defenses with vitamins C and E, elderberry and grape seed extracts (20 calories/8 oz) I liked this flavor, it was strong in the orange flavor and I was hoping for it to be strong in the mango flavor because I love mango!
- But I still enjoyed it!
- Lemon Ginger—Digestive Health: Help promote digestive health with green tea extract and prebiotic fiber (45 calories/8 oz)
This flavor wasn't my favorite only because I am not a huge fan of ginger. It was heavy on the ginger with a splash of lemon. If you like ginger this drink is for you. Also the advertisement does not lie this really does help with digestion. If you are ever having digestive issues I would highly recommend giving this a shot!
