Calling all Sellers!

Home inventory is down from last January.

Since the New Year rang in, every time I step into the office I see agents running around the office saying "do you have any new listings coming on?" or "I have a buyer and we've exhausted the current inventory".   Agents are sending e-mail blasts to offices just hoping to find an agent that has a contact with an on-the-fence seller with a property that could work perfectly for their buyer.

The buyers are out there, but a lot of the sellers are sitting on the fence waiting for the daffodils to bloom before listing their home.  Inventory is low, and if an appropriately priced property comes on the market, it may just end up in a bidding war.

Inventory in Fairfield is currently down 155 units from last year from 485 to 330 units for sale for the month of January.  Easton currently has only 57 units on the market!  That's down from 84 units last January.   If you would like the inventory statistics for your town, call me and I'll send you the report.
