Duck, Duck, Goose at the Town Green!

Get your duckies for the Duckie Derby on May 19th.

Duck season has officially begun in Fairfield Connecticut. Do you have your ducks in a row? Mark your calendars for May 19 at 1 p.m. for the Annual Fairfield CountyDuckie Derby then stop by our sponsor’s locations at The Bank of Fairfield or Whole Foods Market in Fairfield to pick up your ducks for the big day.

You have options when it comes to ducks. You can get a race duck ticket for
a $10 donation. Your ticket has a number on it which corresponds to one of
the racer ducks in the river race. If your duck wins the race you get the trophy!  The other duckie option is for a $15 donation you can pick up a large 12-inch rubber duck to decorate and enter into the “Beauty Contest”.

This creative “work of art” will NOT go into the water, it goes on display to be judged for a prize ribbon in one of 4 categories. There is a 10 year old and under age group category and an 11 year old and older age group category. It’s
a real quack!
