March of Dimes Announces New Fairfield County Division Director

The March of Dimes Connecticut Chapter is pleased to announce that Laura Sinitsky has been named Division Director for Fairfield County.  Sinitsky began June 17 and will lead local program, fundraising and volunteer efforts throughout the county.

A resident of Danbury, CT, Sinitsky most recently served as the Director of Marketing & Development for Richmond Community Services, located in Mt. Kisco, NY and spent eight years in executive roles at the American Heart Association throughout the Northeast.  Sinitsky began her fundraising and nonprofit career with the March of Dimes, coordinating special events in the San Diego, CA division.

“We welcome Laura back to the March of Dimes family.  Laura’s extensive nonprofit leadership and fundraising expertise, along with a personal passion to ensure that all babies have a healthy start, will truly be an asset as we work together with families, hospitals and corporations within Fairfield County for stronger, healthier babies,” said Deb Fafard, State Director of the March of Dimes Connecticut Chapter.

“I am grateful for this opportunity to join the incredible staff, board members and volunteers at the March of Dimes in Fairfield County,” said Ms. Sinitsky. “At the core of my professional and personal life has been a commitment to promoting and improving the quality of life for people and families. Throughout my career, I have focused on initiatives that have benefited my community in a meaningful way. I look forward to developing relationships and partnerships in our region that will benefit the community and impact our mission of healthier babies.”
