Never Diet Again! Really?

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to never have to diet again? To never have to count another calorie, measure another portion, or have to say no to your favorite foods?

What would that feel like? How would that affect the way you live your life?

Now you may be thinking that in a perfect world that would be great, but this is the here and now, and it just would never work. History has shown this to be true… or has it?

Here’s a fact; any diet can be successful for somebody, for a period of time. Why?

Because when you go on a diet you commit to eating better, you have a plan and you watch your portion sizes. It’s that simple.

What do you think would happen if you decided to a. commit to eating better, b. devise a healthy and sustainable eating plan you would enjoy, c. watch your portion sizes? You would lose weight.

For all the before and after’s you have ever seen, it all boils down to the same thing; a commitment to change. Those who succeeded did not commit to depriving themselves, to eating foods they hate, and living every day on a diet.

Anyone who has had lasting and successful weight loss made the commitment to get healthy.

So don’t get bogged down on which diet to do next, or which foods you can no longer enjoy. Eat, move and act in a way that serves your goal. Repeat after me:

“From this day forward I commit to getting healthier. I will eat healthy foods. I will exercise on a consistent basis. I will think positive thoughts.”

My friend, this is all you need. Diets be damned.
