Fairfield University's Quick Center for the Arts unveils 2011-2012 season

Fairfield University's Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts invites visitors to come curious and leave inspired as it announces its 2011-1012 Arts & Minds performance season.

It’s Christmas in July these days at Fairfield University’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. The University’s 2011-2012 Arts & Minds performance season was announced earlier this month, and single tickets and subscription packages recently went on sale, too.

This season, visitors can expect world-class performances in opera, dance, and theatre, classical, jazz and folk music, young audience performances, lectures, and student ensemble performances - over 100 performances in all between September 2011 and July 2012. So there’s sure to be something for everyone.

Througout 2011-2012, the Quick Center’s 21st season promises to be an especially engaging one, with notable appearances by John Malkovich, Luciana Souza, the Ahn Trio, Paula Cole, Philadanco, and the National Acrobats of the People’s Republic of China, to name just a few. Open VISIONS Forum speakers include Chuck Todd, Ben Brantley, Lara Logan, Rex Reed, and Meadowlark Lemon. And the ever-popular Met Opera: Live in HD series allows ticket holders to experience premier opera performances live without having to contend with New York City parking or prices, while National Theatre Live in HD brings the London stage to Fairfield. And a variety of discount packages are also available.
