Beatrice Gaydos, 89, Fairfield Resident & Beloved Mother

Beatrice Holmberg Gaydos, age 89, of Fairfield, wife of the late Alexander ( Al ) Gaydos, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 11, 2013.

Born and raised in Bridgeport, Beatrice was a Fairfield town resident for many years. She had worked for the Bryant Electric Co. of Bridgeport for over 30 years until her retirement.

Beatrice enjoyed travel and dancing and especially the times that she spent with her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

She was the beloved mother of Lois DeManche of Fairfield and Nancy Vetto and her husband Jack of Ladylake, FL, Nana Bee will have her memory cherished by her granddaughter, Kimberely Vetto and grandsons Jason DeManche and his wife Kristen, Kyle DeManche and his wife Jessica and Gary Vetto and his wife Mindy, great-grandchildren Zachary and Chelsea and Nicholas and Julia as well as several nieces and nephews.

Her family would like to thank the staff of the Jewish Home's Bennett Second Floor for the wonderful care shown to Beatrice during her stay.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.  in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6:30  pm. Burial will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Memorial contributions may be made to Lupus Foundation of America.
