Obituary: Janet Rentz, 78, Former Fairfield Resident

Janet Rentz, age 78, of Milford, formerly of Fairfield, passed away at her home with her loving family by her side on Saturday, April 20, 2013, after a long illness. 

Born in Mt. Vernon, NY, Janet was the daughter of the late Anthony and May Loney Loubiere. Beloved wife of George D. Rentz for 60 years, she was a resident of Milford since 2005.

Janet leaves behind three children, Kathy Landau, of Hamden, Chris Rentz, and his wife, Elaine, of Lunenburg, VT, and Gregory Rentz, and his wife, Pam, of Black Rock; six cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Zack, Cory, Cole, Cooper and Wyatt.  and a sister, Yvonne Biagiarelli, of Madison. She was predeceased by a sister, Marie Fregau.

Jan loved traveling, boating, and camping, especially when it included her family and friends. She was an accomplished amateur artist that had a real love of life. She will be truly missed by all who came to know her.

Funeral services and interment will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 11 a.m. directly at Lawncroft Cemetery, 1740 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield, with Fr. Michael Dogali officiating. Services have been entrusted to the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home Preplanning and Cremation Services, of Fairfield Center.
