Raised in Fairfield, Kristina graduated from Andrew Warde High School in 1975. She lived in Washington and Germany when Andrew was serving in the military, and moved back to Fairfield in 1981. A dedicated homemaker, loving wife and mother, she also ran a home cleaning service. When her parents and parents-in-law became older and needed assistance, Kristina was their caregiver. A devout catholic, she lived her faith every day, and performed countless selfless acts of kindness throughout her life.

A talented gardener and cook, Kristina enjoyed traveling to the Virgin Islands, shopping, especially when involving coupons, playing bingo at St. Emery Church, and participating in activities at both Holy Family Church and Holy Cross Church. She was a member of the American Slovenian Society (KSKJ).

The Murray family would like to express their appreciation for the compassionate care provided to Kristina from the Bridgeport Oncology Staff, especially Faye and Rene, and the Bridgeport Hospital Tower Seven staff.
