Obituary: Nancy Savignano, Clinical Supervisor at St. V's Urgent Care Clinic

Nancy (Tkacz) Savignano, 64, of Seymour, died May 19, 2014, at her home. 

She was the beloved companion to Kenneth Antonacci. 

Born in Derby on Jan. 26, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Morris and Doris (Morgan) Tkacz.

Savignano was employed by St. Vincent Urgent Care Clinic in Fairfield, where she was a Clinical Supervisor. 

She was a communicant of Trinity Episcopal Church; she had volunteered on various boards for the Town of Seymour, and was a founder of The Dandelions Girls Softball League. Her passion was her love of nursing. She was also an avid motorcycle rider with her beloved Ken.

In addition to her companion, she is survived by her children, Morgan D'Amore (David) of Oxford, Jillian Savignano of Seymour, and Frank Savignano III of Seymour; her brother, Thomas Tkacz and his companion, Cindy Kazmarsky of Killingworth; her sister, Debra Mullen (Kevin) of Seymour; her grandchildren, Ella D'Amore, and Frankie Savignano IV; and several nieces and nephews. 

Her sister, Maureen Radcliffe, predeceased her.

Calling hours will take place Friday, May 23, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. A Service of Requiem Eucharist will be celebrated on Saturday, May 24, at 10 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 91 Church St., Seymour; interment will follow in Mountain Meadows Cemetery.
