Obituary: Philip DeProfio, 69

DeProfio - Philip DeProfio, age 69, of Fairfield, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Bridgeport Hospital.

Philip was born in Bridgeport to the late Philip J. and Florence M. Wildman DeProfio. He had worked for the Diocese of Bridgeport and was the head of maintenance for St. Theresa's Church in Trumbull for the past seventeen years.

Philip enjoyed writing poetry, painting, sketching, photography and fishing in his spare time. He is survived by his loving siblings, Linda DeProfio, of Fairfield, and Carl DeProfio, and his wife, Terri, of Shelton; nieces and nephews, Carl DeProfio, and his wife, Julie, Brian DeProfio, and his wife Sydney, and Matthew DeProfio and Laura DeProfio; and great-nieces and nephews, Cate, Christopher, Benjamin, and Madison DeProfio.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at 9:45 am in the , 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center, and 10:30 am at , Fairfield. Interment will follow at Lawncroft Cemetery. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday, September 4, 2012, from 4-8 pm.
