Obituary: Terri Trinkley, 84, Fairfield Resident and Volunteer

Trinkley - Terri Trinkley, age 84, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Raymond Trinkley, entered into eternal life on Saturday April 27, 2013 at Connecticut Hospice.

She was the first of five children born in Bridgeport to parents, Gus and Mia who predeceased her.

Terri loved music and had fond memories of working as the manager of a popular music store during the big band era. She loved helping people and volunteered for many organizations such as the Rehabilitation Center of Bridgeport Hospital. She also worked as a companion for years following the passing of her father.

Terri's passions included ballroom dancing with her late husband of 60 years, playing Bridge, gardening, reading, cooking favorite dishes for family, and above all socializing with family, friends and neighbors.

Terri is survived by her sons, Mark and his wife, Maria of Fairfield; William of Stowe, VT; her adoring grandson David whom she cherished; her brother Michael and his wife, Mary of Fairfield; three sisters, Sophie of Fairfield; Nelli and her husband, Gene of Bridgeport; Barbara of Fairfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road in Fairfield Center. A service will be held at 6 p.m. with the Reverend George Cocoa officiating. Her interment will be private.

Memorial donations may be directed to St. Vincent's Medical Center of Bridgeport, CT or Connecticut Hospice of Branford, CT.
