Obituary: Thomas (Tommy) Gerald Fallon, 24

Calling hours will be held Thursday, Dec. 6 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Spear-Miller Funeral Home. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 7, at 11 a.m. at Greenfield Hill Congregational Church.

Thomas Gerald Fallon, beloved son of Ann Vernon and James Fallon, passed away on Friday November 30, 2012. He was 24 years old.

He is survived by his beloved brothers, James and Matthew, 29 cousins, 19 aunts and uncles, his grandmother, Mary Fallon, and many friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, and paternal grandfather.

Tommy was a student at the University of Connecticut, and attended the University of New Hampshire. He graduated from Fairfield Ludlowe High School in 2007, where he played football and lacrosse.

While growing up in Fairfield, he was a member of the YMCA Indian Guides with his brother, Jamie, played sports at the Wakeman Boys and Girls Club and coached his brother, Matt's basketball team. He spent many happy summers at the Fairfield Beach Club. Tommy loved life and was known most for his warm heart and generous smile. His care and compassion uplifted and encouraged those around him.

The family will receive friends at the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Rd. Fairfield on Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00PM.

A service in celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday December 7, 2012 at the Greenfield Hill Congregational Church, 1045 Old Academy Rd. Fairfield, CT 06824.
