Fairfield Police are investigating the theft of a $3,400 bracelet that was to be sold as part of a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity.
The event was taking place at Brooklawn Country Club, police said, and the bracelet — 18 karat gold with diamonds — was stolen sometime between 6 p.m. on March 9 and 8 p.m. on March 10.
Employees were reportedly confronted about the stolen bracelet, but no one stepped forward, police said. The theft remains under investigation.
