A Park Drive resident reported to police Wednesday that approximately $3,000 in jewelry had been stolen from her home.

According to the police report, the complainant said the jewelry had been going missing "sporadically" over the past year from the master bedroom. The complainant thought that perhaps the jewelry was lost, but noticed Wednesday that a large amount was gone and there had been several people (such as babysitters and painters) in the home recently.

Missing were a gold necklace with pearls, two pairs of diamond stud earrings, three to four pairs of gold earrings, and a gold bracelet, among other items.

This is under investigation.
