Black Rock Inn Robbery Suspect Charged

Rodney Terrell Moore of New Haven was arrested in court on Friday.

A man police believe robbed at knifepoint the front desk clerk of a local hotel has been arrested, police said.

Rodney Terrell Moore, 37, of Prospect Avenue in New Haven, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and first-degree robbery when he was arrested in court on Friday.

According to the original report, the front desk clerk at the on Kings Highway Cutoff was robbed by a black male on March 17. , jumped over the desk and took cash from the counter and a drop envelope before fleeing the hotel, according to the report.

Moore was held in lieu of a $250,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 21, according to court records.
