Zager reportedly told police he wasn't injured, and that a third vehicle had tried to pass him and struck his car, causing Zager's vehicle to hit the parked car. Police could not find evidence of another accident that would have caused Zager to hit the parked car.

According to the report. Zager was unable to maintain balance and police detected the odor of alcohol on his breath. He failed field sobriety tests and was transported to police headquarters, where he was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive in the proper lane.
