Bridgeport Woman Faces DUI, Drug Charges After Allegedly Crashing Into Parked Car

Fairfield police arrested a Bridgeport woman on Sunday morning after she allegedly drove into a parked car in the parking lot of Sherwin Williams on the Post Road.

Zona Green, 40, of Iranistan Avenue in Bridgeport, was arrested on charges of operating under the influence, four counts of possession of narcotics, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of illegal storage of narcotics, and operating without a license, according to the Fairfield Citizen, which also reported there was an outstanding warrant for her arrest on a charge of second-degree failure to appear in court. She was held in lieu of a total $5,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on July 29.

Police told the Fairfield Citizen that they found a variety of pills in Green's purse and that she failed field sobriety tests. Neither car had significant damage.
