Cops: $1K in Damage to Tunxis Hill Park Building

A town-owned restroom facility on the lower field of Tunxis Hill Park suffered $1,000 in damage sometime overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, police said.

The nobs on sinks in the restrooms were smashed with an unknown object, according to police. The faucets were also damaged, and the supply lines to the water fountains were ripped out.

This is under investigation.
