Cops: Babysitter's Boyfriend Allegedly Stole $3.2K in Jewelry

The theft was reported in August, according to police. The suspect was arrested Wednesday.

A Bridgeport man was charged with third-degree larceny Wednesday in connection to the theft of $3,200 worth of jewelry from a Black Rock Turnpike residence, police said.

Zeequan Groves, 20, is reportedly the boyfriend of the residents' babysitter, according to the police report. The theft was reported in late August.

Police arrested Groves on Wednesday. He was held in lieu of a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 13.
