Cops: Family Feud Damages TV, Computer

A fight between two family members in Fairfield resulted in two arrests.

A Fairfield man faces multiple charges after he allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with a family member, police said.

David Maldonado, 30, of Campfield Drive, was charged with violating a protective order, disorderly conduct, and third-degree criminal mischief, according to the report.

The family member he was allegedly fighting with was also arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief. The 15-year-old male and Maldonado were reportedly fighting over personal belongings, department spokesperson Sgt. Sue Lussier said.

A television and computer were damaged during the argument, according to the report.

The teen was released and was scheduled to have appeared in court on Thursday. Maldonado was held in lieu of a $5,000 and was also scheduled to have appeared in court Thursday.
