Responding officers determined Tetreau appeared to be under the influence and administered field sobriety tests, which he reportedly failed. He was transported to police headquarters and charged with driving under the influence, following too close, operating an unregistered vehicle, and operating a vehicle without insurance.

He was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 6.
