Cops: Man Charged with Shoplifting $4.6K in Items from Home Depot, CVS

He was arrested on Monday.

A West Haven man was arrested on a warrant Monday in connection to thefts from Home Depot and CVS (1968 Black Rock Turnpike).

Michael Masselli, 46, of Meloy Road, was charged with third-degree larceny after West Haven police officers took him into custody and transported him to Fairfield police headquarters.

Masselli was charged in connection to the thefts of three leaf blowers totaling $1,541 from Home Depot in March 2012 and $3,122 worth of high-end razors, electronic toothbrush heads, and whitening strips from CVS in 2012, police said.

He was held in lieu of a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 4.
