Cops: Steaks Swiped from Front Steps of Fairfield Home

A resident reported that a delivery of $82 worth of Omaha Steaks never made it to the intended recipient.

A delivery of Omaha Steaks was swiped from the front porch of an Overlook Avenue residence, police said.

The $82 worth of missing meat was reported on Monday. According to the report, UPS confirmed delivering the package to the resident on Dec. 7, but the complainant never got the package. The complainant's mother sent the steaks as a gift.

This is under investigation. Two other tenants in the complex said they have not had issues packages delivered to their front steps.
