Cops: Woman Found with Pot at Fairfield Park

A Bridgeport woman faces several drug charges after police spotted her car in a town park hours after the park had closed on Tuesday.

Sindy Truillo, 20, of Wood Avenue in Bridgeport, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than 4 oz. of a controlled substance, and possession of marijuana with intent to sell after police found a half-ounce of marijuana, glassine baggies, and a grinder in her car, according to the report.

Police noticed Truillo’s car was parked at after 11 p.m.; the park closes shortly after sundown.

Truillo was released on a promise to appear in court on June 18.
