A woman was struck by a pickup truck Tuesday at the drive-thru ATM at Chase Bank in the Kings Crossing Shopping Center on Grasmere Avenue, police said.
The woman told police that the truck -- a gray Chevy R15 pickup -- was stopped about 30 feet before the ATM, blocking the drive-thru. She waited for the truck to move and, when it didn't, got out of her car and walked up to the ATM window.
According to the report, the driver of the pickup began to yell derogatory comments at the woman and then pulled through the ATM, grazed the woman, and drove off.
The woman reported the incident to police. She had visible scratches on one leg but did not request medical attention. She was able to provide police with a description of the vehicle and a partial license plate number.
This is under investigation.
