Fairfield Police are investigating the theft of a credit card from The Edge Fitness Club.
The card has reportedly been used to purchase more than $1,000 worth of items, including an $1,100 purchase at Best Buy in Orange, $60 to pay a bill at The Edge, as well as purchases at McDonald's, Target and Apple.
The victim, a Fairfield resident, reported the card stolen at 6:21 p.m. on March 8. The card had been stolen about two weeks prior, police said, noting that purchases were made on Feb. 27 at McDonald's and Best Buy.
The incident is under investigation, according to Fairfield Police.
