Ditch Your Old Documents Safely at Fairfield Shred Day

Dispose of all those heaping piles of paper with peace of mind, and support the Fairfield Police Explorers at the same time.

The Fairfield Police Explorers Youth Group is hosting a Shred Day on Saturday, April 12, in the Fairfield Police Department parking lot, at the corner of Reef Road and Nichols Street.

The event starts at 9 a.m. and will run till noon. The cost is $10 per box.

Shred Day is a fundraiser for the Fairfield Police Explorers/Youth Group.

Last year I attended a shred day in Westport: no fee, no limit on number of boxes or bags. Come on Fairfield, can't we do better than this?

Hopefully the people who are running this event will remember to go around town and pickup all of the signs they have staked in the ground advertising this event now that it is over. Wishful Thinking.
