Domestic Dispute on Pease Ave Ends in Arrest of Man, Juvenile

The incident occurred on Saturday, police said.

Fairfield police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on Pease Avenue on Saturday -- two were arrested.

Richard Murphy, 51, was charged with disorderly conduct after he allegedly pushed a juvenile male into a wall and struck the juvenile in the chest with a closed fist, police said.

The juvenile was also charged with disorderly conduct as well as second-degree threatening after he allegedly pushed Murphy, grabbed a knife from a kitchen, and told Murphy he would stab him, according to police.

Both Murphy and the juvenile were released on promises to appear in court. They were scheduled to have appeared on Monday.
