Ex-BJ's Employee Arrested After Facebook Threat

Posted Photo on Facebook of Himself Holding Guns With Names of BJ's Employees in the Chambers, Police Say

A Bridgeport man who was fired from BJ's Wholesale Club three weeks ago was arrested Wednesday after he posted a photo on Facebook of himself holding two handguns with the names of six BJ's employees in the gun's chambers, police said.

James Sego, 28, of Fairfield Avenue, was charged with second-degree harassment and second-degree breach of peace after police received a report Wednesday morning that Sego was texting BJ's employees asking why Fairfield Police were back at the lower Black Rock Turnpike store, police said. Sego's text messages indicated to employees and police that Sego was watching the store, and employees requested an arrest, police said. Sego's bond and court date weren't immediately set.

BJ's employees first contacted police Tuesday night after learning of the photo on Facebook from a friend of a BJ's employee, police said.

Sego's intentions weren't known and he was taken into custody without incident, police said.

Police said Sego was fired from BJ's three weeks ago because he was "loud, boisterous and had a bad temper."
