A few streets away, a Harvester Road resident reported to police early Tuesday that someone may have attempted to enter his vehicle overnight, police said.

There were prints in the snow surrounding his car, Lussier said. The trail led to a neighbor’s driveway and all around the neighborhood, according to the report. None of the cars appeared to be entered.

A Lloyd Place resident reported early Tuesday that his unlocked Honda CR-V, which was parked in the driveway and unlocked, had been broken into, police said.

Another Wheeler Park Avenue resident reported early Tuesday that the front window on the driver’s side of his Hyundai Elantra had been smashed, police said. The car was parked in the street in front of the house.

Nothing was reported missing, but the damage to the window was estimated at $400, Lussier said. A purse was moved from the floor of the passenger’s seat to the driver’s seat, according to the report.

Footprints in the snow were found surrounding the vehicle. Police tracked the trail of prints to Adley Road and then lost them.

An Adley Road resident reported the left rear window of his car had been smashed, but the car door was still locked, police said.

The damage was estimated at $300. Police do not believe the two acts of vandalism are related to the string of aforementioned break-ins and attempted break-ins, Lussier said.
