Fairfield Police Investigate 2 Burglaries


Fairfield Police are investigating two burglaries of local homes during which computers, cash and jewelry were stolen.

Police say a Woodcrest Road resident reported the theft of Xbox games, cash and costume jewelry on Monday, according to the Fairfield Citizen. 

Computer equipment valued at about $2,000 were reported stolen from a Whitewood Road home Saturday night. The resident came home to find the kitchen drawers and a bedroom ransacked. About $700 worth of jewelry also was reported missing, according to the Fairfield Citizen
