Fairfield Woman Accused of Setting Up Beer-Pong Table for Teens

Maria Flores charged with permitting minors to possess alcohol and breach of peace.

Fairfield's Maria Flores, 41, is facing charges after allegedly allowing minors to drink at a party at her home and setting up a beer-pong table in the backyard for them last week.

Flores, of New Hampshire Ave., was arrested on charges of permitting minors to possess alcohol and breach of peace.

According to the Connecticut Post, one teen was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport for treatment after being found intoxicated at the home after police responded to complaints of a loud party where minors appeared to be drinking alcohol last Thursday night. Police say Flores admitted to setting up the beer-pong table.

Flores was released on a promise to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on July 21.
