A Fairfield cop will be standing atop of Victoria's Secret at the corner of Post and Reef roads Friday to raise money and awareness for Special Olympics athletes.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday. While on cop stands on top of the building, other officers will collect donations from drivers and passersby.

"Our goal is to raise $5,000 for Special Olympics on Friday," department spokesperson Sgt. Sue Lussier said.

There will be music playing throughout the event for all who pass by to enjoy.
