A man was charged Friday with disorderly conduct after he allegedly spit in the face of an employee at Connecticut Health of Southport on Mill Hill Terrace, police said.

Donald Day, 41, was a resident of the facility until he was released on Nov. 8, according to police. The staff allowed him to stay past that date until he found a place to live, but according to the police report, Day has since become abusive to staff.
