A Bridgeport man was arrested early Friday after he asked for it, police said.
Edward Stevenson, 60, had a warrant for his arrest for failure to respond to an infraction, according to the police report.
On Friday, Stevenson reportedly told the night cashier at the Cumberland Farms on the Post Road to call police because there was a warrant for his arrest.
Police arrived and took Stevenson into custody. He was held in lieu of a $100 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 29.
