According to the report, Decampos appeared to be nervous and was fumbling while trying to find his license and insurance card. Police, concerned he may have been concealing a weapon, conducted a pat down and found the brass knuckles on his person.

Decampos called a friend to bring his motorcycle insurance card, but he could not produce a valid motorcycle license, police said. The friend, Jason Scott, 32, also of Bridgeport, was also arrested when he arrived on scene on a state police warrant for evading responsibility, according to the report. He was turned over to state troopers.
