Man Arrested for Alleged Hit and Run in Fairfield

The incident was reported in October, police said.

A Norwalk man was charged Monday with evading responsibility following an accident that occurred on Oct. 5, police said.

Curtis Besdeo, 46, reportedly struck an unoccupied vehicle with the truck he was driving in the Home Deport parking lot on Grasmere Avenue. According to police, Besdeo left the scene and investigators were unable to contact him.

Police applied for a warrant for Besdeo's arrest, which was served on Monday. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Dec. 3.
