Man Charged With Robbing, Burglarizing Fairfield Businesses
Man allegedly burglarized a restaurant and hair salon and robbed a gas station.
Andrew Remick, 23, of Bridgeport, was charged with first-degree robbery, third-degree burglary and three counts of larceny on Oct. 18 at approximately 10:30 a.m.
According to police, Remick robbed a business and burglarized two more closed businesses in Fairfield from Aug. 23 – Aug. 27.
Remick allegedly robbed Mobil, 1271 Stratfield Road, Fairfield, on Aug. 27, saying he had a gun at the time of the robbery, according to police.

Remick also allegedly climbed into a small window in the rear of Mancuso's Ristorante & Bar, 61 Kings Highway East, Fairfield in the overnight hours of Aug. 26 and took $200 from the register, two bottles of whiskey and a laptop computer.
Surveillance footage from the restaurant captured a description of the man that police say matched a similar description given by a witness in a burglary of Maureen O'Hara Salon, 1521 Black Rock Tpk., Fairfield and the Mobil robbery.

He was held on $100,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 18.
