A 62-year-old Fairfield man was arrested for allegedly shoving a nurse and wielding a butter knife at the on Jefferson Street, police said.
Michael Kondrat of Four Seasons Road was reportedly upset that his mother was being moved to a different room and allegedly pushed the nurse as she was placing photos on top of the mother’s new dresser, according to ther report.
Kondrat told police that the nurse had bumped him.
According to police, Kondrat and the nurse were separated, but Kondrat was holding a butter knife and yelling at security when officers arrived.
He was charged with breach of peace and released on a promise to appear in court on March 19.
