Man Charged with Violating Protective Order in Fairfield

Guy Crowe, 49, of Westport, was arrested on Saturday, Fairfield police said.

A Westport man was charged with violation of a protective order on Saturday, following an incident that occurred in Fairfield on Oct. 1, Fairfield police said.

Guy Crowe, 49, of Hiawatha Lane, was allegedly in the parking lot of Nutmeg Bowl on Villa Avenue in Fairfield on Oct. 1 at the same time the complainant, who had previously filed the protective order, was at the bowling alley, police said.

Crowe had left before police arrived and officers applied for a warrant for his arrest, department spokesperson Sgt. Sue Lussier said. He was arrested on Saturday and was released from Fairfield police on a $1,000 bond. Crowe was then turned over to Norwalk police for another warrant. He is scheduled to appear in court for the Fairfield arrest on Nov. 19.
