Fairfield Police arrested a 35-year-old resident following an altercation at a Berkeley Road residence in which the man allegedly headbutted a relative.
Timothy M. Graceski, of 315 Berkeley Road, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct at 6:36 p.m. on March 8.
An investigation revealed that Graceski headbutted the male victim in the face and caused a contusion, police said. Graceski had reportedly left prior to police arrival, but returned upon police request and was subsequently charged.
He was released on a written promise to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on March 11.
