Mother, Daughter Charged After Fairfield Traffic Stop

Bridgeport women were allegedly in violation of a dual protective order.

A mother and daughter under a duel protective order were both arrested after being spotted together following a routine traffic stop in Fairfield. 

Lynda Mariotti, 61, and Nikki Mariotti, 28, of Bridgeport, were charged with violation of a protective order on September 20 at 11:52 a.m. after the driver, Nikki, failed to stop at a red light on Tunxis Hill in Fairfield.

According to police, an investigation revealed that a protective order was issued on Aug. 19 in Bridgeport and the two women were not allowed to have any contact in any manner with each other.

Both women were released on written promise to appear and were scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 23.
