Numerous Car Break-ins Reported in Fairfield

Five car break-ins were reported overnight Sunday into Monday morning.

Several car break-ins and thefts were reported to police Monday morning, Sept. 16, in the area of Brookview Road in Fairfield. 

According to police, between 10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, and 9:20 a.m. Monday, five vehicles were entered and several items were stolen.

A window was smashed and an iPod Nano was reported stolen out of a black Ford Explorer on Brookview Road at 7:12 a.m. A small amount of money was also reported stolen out of a grey Toyota Siena on Brooklawn Avenue.

Several other cars were reportedly entered and rummaged through on Brookview and Stratfield road during the overnight hours, according to police.
