The complainant’s wife had just left the house as her husband was coming home and discovered Mazzeo, police said. Mazzeo reportedly said “you caught me” to the complainant and handed over the pills, according to the report.

Officers took Mazzeo, an Ansonia resident, into custody and charged him. He was released on a written promise to appear in court on March 30.
