Shoplifting Arrests; Briefing Cut Short Due to Lack of Available Staff

Today's press briefing at the Police Department was cut short due to a lack of available staff, and police only released information about one incident, which follows:

Two Bridgeport men accused of shoplifting about $417 worth of clothes from Kohl's, a department store on Tunxis Hill Road, Tuesday afternoon were arrested nearby and charged with sixth-degree larceny, police said.

Karlo Ramos, 29, and Anthony Heath, 42, both of Orchard Street, were caught by Tunxis Hill Park and taken to police headquarters where they were charged and released on promises to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court April 13, police said.
